Job Overview

As a Successful live chat agent, you should enjoy a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask as they could be multiple conversations going on at once. This job requires to be able to communicate professionally using proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assist with customer complaints and questions about specific products or services
  • Modify and escalate complaints across several communication channels
  • Respond promptly to customers’ inquiries, requests, orders, or applications
  • Be the first point of contact and advocate for customers
  • Handle a high volume of customer support requests via email, phone, and chat using empathy to answer questions and troubleshoot problems

Preferred skills for freelance chat support specialists

  • Proficient English minimum C1 in spoken and written
  • Articulate, personable, and reliable with great writing skills and email etiquette
  • 1 year of chat support experience preferred
  • CRM/support tool experience a plus
